Email is the best way to get in touch. SolarHold is operated by Austin Murphy, and messages come directly to him rather than to a support queue. We read every message and aim to respond within two to three business days.

What We Respond To
- Questions about a guide — sizing, wiring, or equipment questions where our coverage did not answer your specific situation.
- Corrections — factual errors, outdated figures, broken links, or specifications that no longer match a current product. Incentive rules and equipment specifications change, and we would rather hear about it than leave something wrong on the site.
- Product suggestions — equipment you would like us to cover, or categories we have missed.
- Topic requests — guides or comparisons you looked for and could not find.
- Reader experience — how equipment we have written about has performed in your own build.
- Partnership inquiries — brands and retailers interested in editorial partnerships that meet our disclosure standards.
What We Cannot Help With
SolarHold is a research and education resource rather than an installer or a retailer. A few things fall outside what we can do:
- System design or sign-off — we cannot specify or approve a system for your property. Anything involving permanent wiring, service panels, or grid connection needs a licensed electrician and a permit where your jurisdiction requires one.
- Order and warranty support — we do not sell equipment. Orders, returns, and warranty claims go to the retailer or manufacturer you bought from.
- Troubleshooting a live installation — diagnosing a fault remotely is not something we can do responsibly. Contact your installer or a qualified electrician.
- Incentive eligibility rulings — we cover how programs generally work, and eligibility for your situation is a question for the administering agency or a tax professional.
Guest Posts and Link Requests
We do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles, or paid link placements. Messages offering these will not receive a reply. Our editorial recommendations are not for sale, which is the point of the site.
A Note on Safety
If you are dealing with an immediate electrical hazard, a battery that is swelling, venting, or unusually hot, or any sign of fire, do not email us. Get clear of it and contact your local emergency services or utility.
